Our content consists of a video recording and document detailing modifications which can be made to the laboratory space and basic lab equipment to make it more useable by visually impaired students. The intent is to maximize the ability of the student to participate in the hands-on aspects of the lab so they may develop their lab skills and understanding. The case shown in the video pertains to an organic laboratory class and it also covers recommendations on how a lab instructor should approach communicating and interacting with a visually impaired lab student.
