The Story Behind the Digital Market


The concept of the Digital Market began with the simple question of, “How can we better connect research-based solutions developed at ECU to those in need?” After engaging the campus community we found an abundance of digital content in the form of apps, documents, videos and sounds, but faculty struggled to find a place for the content beyond research publications and conferences. Hence, the “Digital Market” was born. By placing content on the market the visibility of the university’s research enterprise is increased, royalties generated by the exchange are given back to the contributing faculty and most importantly, research based solutions now have an easy path to help those who need it.


Digital Market Advisory Board


The primary mission of the advisory board is to serve as advocates for the Digital Market across campus and in the community.  Members serve a twelve month appointment, renewable based on continued interest and ability to serve on the advisory board.
